1. It will convert to the new system tomorrow a 2 p.m.
2. You won't need a Blogger log on (ding dong the witch is dead). You just register on the C-L site for everything.
3. Most of my recent posts will make the new blog. All of my posts will eventually get on there. I obviously have the largest blog to move, so Andy will be busy.
4. It will be better.

Dang... I like the blogger log on..
question: I have a separate registered account as a C/L customer for customer service related inquiries;
I have a separate registered account to access the forums at mississippimoms.com;
will this require yet another registration or will one of the two above work?
What? I'm DEAD?
Cool, going back to bed now...
~:>
Let's see if I have this straight --
1. Mississippimoms will remain seperate.
2. If you have it for billing inquiries, it is seperate. Otherwise, it will be one password for everything -- forums, comments on stories and blogs. From what I have seen, it is way better than what we have now and registering take about three seconds. I even had to register so I can create my blog.
which forums will be included? The only forums I know about are the ones on mississippimoms and the outdoor one...
Where have I not left my footprint? :)
Never mind... a little birdie just emailed me the answer.
Scweet!
And I bet I know that birdie's name.
Oh, so we will have to take a minute to re-register like we did election day when everything went to hades in a handbasket. Am i right? That doesn't take two seconds!
Do you mean we won't have to worry about Blogger going down anymore? Yeah!
I'm a little worried of the changes. I hope all systems are go tomorrow.
I am too -- Andy quickly showed me the interface and I should be able to do most of what is on Blogger. It's a little scrambled looking compared to blogger, but I think I can do some basic layout tricks to keep it visually interesting.
please say your not going to the horrible Ledger log-in stuff. I haven't read a CL story in 2 months because it won't let me see anything past the front page, I only get to here by backdooring straight to the blog. I know it is some sort of cookie issue and I want to sign up for the cookie but I put my info in the log-in screen and hit enter and it just sits there. I even emailed the Ledger a month ago with no response from anyone.
As a big fan I hope the screwy Ledger site doesn't screw up your blog
1. since this is a work blog, I have to use what they give me.
2. I didn't have to put much if any info. Just my e-mail and name.
3. I don't think it will require you to sign in to read the blog, just comment.
...this means I'd either have to dig out the password for my CL account, or just get another, since the aliases are totally different.
You can tell how much I comment at the CL.
Then I am honored you are here.
Will we still have our same blogging ids and pics?
I tried to look at the CL story chat a few times, but those people are just plain nasty. I don't even go there anymore.
The blog site will eventually be like Word turned out to be after we were forced to quit using Word Perfect and we will be so pleased.
I figure a few hecklers will make there way over here. That's alright, I guess. Don't know about the pictures -- I think you can set that up.
I hope so. I've come to associate all of the MRBA with their pics.
Does this mean our little pictures and links to peoples blogs will go away??! ack!
you can upload your existing picture...
you can put your link if you choose to your blogger blog in your new CL profile...
otherwise...hang on... it's about to get interesting.
Can I use my mississippimoms.com account for your blog? I think it's my c-l-wide account.
Yay! Marshall's technical support now!
nope, Stacey.
Not only that.. with you having a 'familiar' screen name... You'll likely have to alter your's.
I couldn't user "supermom". I'm having to be "supermom1".
I have the framework for the new blog set up. I can add stuff to it (like the blogroll) as I go.
Should work well enough.
Ooh, alternate identity time. Hmmm.

Nah, I won't use the last one. Y'all would never know it's me.
you should just stick with your true identity:
AcesMom
And no, you can't have spaces, under-scores, or anything other than all letters and numbers.
GRRRR!
