Afternoon report
I am not sure if I am lazy or if I am still zapped from the surgery, but I sure would like to go to a park somewhere and read a book today. It is great out there today. Am working on a cartoon for tomorrow that I will be able to use in my speech to the Legislature today. Can't wait for that.

Do you know how many days it has been since you mention Frank's name.
Frank is in hiding, I think.
Maybe a month long vacation.
Any comment on the news flash about Rankin County looking to purchase a Mobile Command Vehicle?
The park downtown across from the Governors mansion is a good spot for that! I used it all last year when I could not stay in my office any longer.
The Airport has the best all-around Mobile Command Center. But I would imagine you could get Jackson's cheap (because of the budget crisis). And you would get a free sludgehammer with your purchase.
Jackson's mobile command probably has too many miles on it.
I can not WAIT to hear how your speech goes.
Would love to be a fly on the wall at that one.

Camp, that's Smith Park and I've always expected to go there and find the hobos roasting a squirrel on a spit over an open fire. They must be the quickest squirrels in town. Mr. Eagle used to go by and pick up lunches and pick me up for a picnic in Smith Park. That was in our "courting" days.
Marshall, you must have had another volunteer to be your official taster tonight because I haven't heard from you yet. I don't want to get dressed up with no place to go.
