Just because she gives thanks for them, doesn't mean she has to spend the day with them. :) You know -- most of us have unlimited long distance of some kind. That really would be better on the budget . . . :)
Lol!! I understand. I do have some relatives that I'm glad I go see so I can leave when I want, however, I know because it's the in-law situation you can't say hi and then bye in 15 minutes.
Yours is a situation in which human cloning would REALLY come in handy, right?
Since it took $40.00 to fill up a small 4 cylinder truck the other day. I think visiting anybody is going to take more thought these days. Granted I didn't have enough gas to go to a cheaper location, but still...
unimp - sorry you have to travel such a long way. When will you be up here? :) If you're coming up on Wed. and leaving on Sunday, at least you'll be going against the flow of traffic. Getting back INTO the metro DC area on the Sunday after Thanksgiving is an experience I don't ever intend to repeat.

Ain't it the truth; ain't it the sad truth. Sigh. . .
Oooh, maybe I can use the climbing gas prices to get out of going to my mother-in-law's this year...
You may have just saved my Christmas, Ramsey...
Lol! Stacey!!! now now isn't it the time to give thanks even for your inlaws?

Regina, you are more than welcome to spend 3 days with my mother-in-law. The only time you'll be thankful is when you're leaving.
Mom, Dad and 3 kids....seems familiar, strangely familiar....

Wow Topiary Cow, I didn't think cows were so observant. Sorry. Anyway I didn't notice that until you mentioned it.
I guess they don't let banjo, molly and sam travel with them.
Which one do you think is Hot Laser Guy?
The one with the cool cap on. I think HLG always has to look cool.
It's funny that he has the gas tank yellow and the gas sign colored yellow, it is like gold.
Well i'm off to lunch and to put some of that gold in my car.
Anyone want to donate to my driving trip to Washington, DC next week.
