Ok, as promised, this is the sausage dip recipe from lil sis.
1 lb Hot Jimmy Dean sausage 1 lb Mild Jimmy Dean sausage 1 jar Pace picante sauce Cilantro (sis says the cilantro is kind of hard to find, but the best) 8-10 oz Velveeta (sis says small pkg of Velveeta is 8 oz but she likes to add a bit more)
Brown sausage and drain. Melt the velveeta into the sausage, add the salsa, then put in into a crockpot to keep warm.
Y'all, this stuff is FINE. I could make a meal on it.
Heading out soon to meet the Ex (lax) at Vaiden to pick up the Princess. She's had an adventure this weekend in Memphis. I sure have missed that little imp!
Well, after eating Thanksgiving dinner with friends and munching out on ham sandwiches yesterday from the first whole ham I ever cooked, on Wednesday night, we now have the turkey nestled into the 18-quart Nesco cooker and I have the celery and onions chopped to put into the cornbread as soon as Mr. Eagle gets back from the store with milk and eggs. I'm ready for more turkey and dressing and those fabulous turkey sandwiches. Mr. Eagle will have an abundance to choose for his take-to-work lunch this week! Thank you, Jesus, for good food and good friends!
Mr. Eagle landed at County Market and flew through Rally's on his way home. I've never been much of a Rally's fan, but the chili cheeseburger is just fine. That should hold me for a while. The cornbread just went into the oven.

On behalf of the MRBA, I'd like to say WE MISSED YOU!!!
I am glad that you had the time off and it sounds like you had a great time and saw lots of beautiful scenery, but WE MISSED YOU.
That's not to say that you aren't entitled to a little time off now and again, but did I mention, WE MISSED YOU.
I think we did a pretty darn good job of keeping the blog going, but WE MISSED YOU.
WELCOME HOME!!!

I'm tired of driving. 1900 miles since Wednesday. Hoping things will be back to normal tomorrow.
With speeches, I've done a little over a couple grand myself in the past week. We drove to the store yesterday and I started twitching violently.
And yes, dhcoop, I am as glad to be back as you are to have me back.
My neighbor makes a dip with ground beef and Velveeta and Rotel tomatoes that is habit forming too!

It is pouring down rain here now and the turkey is simmering and the cornbread should be done - need to go check it.....
Methinks supermom is wishing she hadn't played beerball on Friday...hehehehe

Considering she is sooo much older than me (days), I am surprised she can get around. I am sore from moving boxes in and out of the attic.
