Song and Dance

I can't sing. Mrs R can't either. We hear each other singing in church and laugh. I can't dance -- rhythm is missing from my DNA. A fish flopping on the dock has more grace than I do. So it brought incredible joy today to watch my son sing and do his choreographed moves during his school performance this morning. I hope our genes cancelled each other out -- because seeing the joy on my kid's face today was pretty darn cool.

I feel the same way when I watch my daughter play sports. She has done more in the athletic world at 7 than I have, or will, my whole life.

I'm glad you got to enjoy the program.

So it wasn't like this?

Seriously, that must've been awesome. And good on you for making it.
