A week off

I have five vacation days left this year and I plan on taking four of them next week. That means the blog will slow down to a trickle for a few days. If there ever was a time I needed a vacation, this is it. I will pop in from time to time, but will leave you a place to keep the conversation going.

I apologize for it going dark, but I need to recharge. My low-fuel light is on and I think it is safe to say I need to take little time to love on my family.

The good news is that this is the last time this year that the blog will go quiet. And one other thing, you will be stuck with seven days of syndicated cartoons. I meant to leave more behind, but I have been on the road too much to draw 14 cartoons this week.

Have a good Thanksgiving. I will talk to you between now and then.

You need to take off from now until Christmas just to catch up on your beauty rest. I'm sure three boys, two dogs, one cat and one wife would prevent that from happening though. (sounds like a Christmas carol doesn't it)

On the third day of Christmas my truelove sent to me, Threeee screaming boys ....

Marshall, I totally understand. I am running away this weekend too for a week. If my Dad can get out of the hospital, my husband and I plan to go on with our anniversary trip to Helen, GA and hopefully meet up with my folks in Atlanta for Thanksgiving. Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!
