Question of the day

Do you think there is something to Dickie Scruggs' indictment or is he a target of a Republican Justice Department witch hunt?

There seems to be as big a paper and tape recorder trail in this as there was in Watergate. Reckon we'll have to call it Scruggsgate?

Does Dickie Scruggs weigh the same as a duck?

Yes, I think there is something to the indictment and I don't think there is a witch hunt.

Becareful what you say in a email to a judge and your associates should be very careful what they say to a judge. The judge was wearing a wire.

The Sun Hearld states that the Scruggs never had any direct contact with Lackey. Instead Balducci was the main intermediary.

Remember ole Steve Patterson was our state auditor, he works with Balducci.

Someone said Scruggs was Trent Lott's cousin. Could there be a connection with his sudden resignation?

You know what they say, the bigger they come...

DHCoop--
Dickie Scruggs and Trent Lott are brothers-in-law.

I was married to a judge and when approached with similar nefarious schemes by several attorneys during his term of office, he would always tell them that he was turning on his tape recorder before they could continue. How stupid can attorneys be? Well, incredibly stupid in my experience. It all goes back to the ones who have more money than brains. And the worst part is that these people are reproducing and voting.

It's been five and a half hours and no one caught my reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail...

Well, Library Guy, cherries, gravy, ducks and wood may float, but Trickie Dickie won't float my boat nor yours either.

What? Are you saying Dickie's made of wood?

Forcedtoretirelegaleagle said...

Yeah, kinda reminds me of Kawliga, that poor old wooden head!

Taken from wapt.com, this just in: "A Dec. 15 fundraiser at the Oxford home of attorney Richard "Dickie" Scruggs for the presidential campaign of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has been canceled.

Campaign official Blake Zeff said Thursday that in light of recent developments the event was canceled. Zeff did not elaborate on the announcement."

My recommendation to all those caught up in Dickiegate: Keep your gate closed and maybe you won't get in trouble.
